SICK, DYING, DEAD
This is a game of catch for two people, and for
some of the time you have to catch the ball with one hand. It's
usually played with a small ball.
1. You and your partner stand facing each
other, with 3-4 metres of space between, and take turns to throw
the ball to each other. You have to try to catch it without letting
it touch the ground.
2. Each time you miss the ball, you have
to stand in one of the positions listed below. Start at the first
one, 'Headache', and move down the list each time you miss the ball.
3. Each time you catch the ball, you can
move back up the list to the one before.
4. See how long you can keep the game going.
These are the positions:
HEADACHE: Keep one hand on your head while
you throw and catch the ball with the other one.
TUMMYACHE: Keep one hand on your tummy while
you throw and catch the ball with the other one.
SICK: Kneel on one knee and catch the ball
with two hands.
DYING: Kneel on both knees and catch the
ball with two hands.
DEAD: Lie on the ground, because you're out
of the game.

RULES FOR SICK, DYING, DEAD:
1. You must catch the ball without letting
it touch the ground.
2. Throws must be fair, to give each person
a good chance to catch the ball.
3. In 'Headache' you have to put your hand
on your head before you throw the ball back to your partner, and
keep it there until you catch the ball or drop it again. The same
goes for 'Tummyache'.
