PROGRAMS FOR SCHOOLSThe programs offered are ideal for children in the Middle Primary years. The focus is on children's traditional games - the kinds of activities children choose to play in their own time and in their own way. These games, and the folklore around them, have been passed down through the generations, usually from child to child, to the children of today. There are a range of programs including displays, workshops, illustrated talks, games demonstrations and play activities. The programs can be supported by an interesting collection of pictures, playthings, memorabilia and games, which are used to show historical and cultural similarities and differences in children's play. Each program is planned and developed through discussion and according to specific needs.
